Blender shortcuts

1. Ctrl-C to recenter the cursor
2. Never press the P-key
3. Selecting global/local then clicking ingthe small curve icon allows to properly align stuff even if they're not 0/90/180o oriented
4. G-key then G-key again to slide along line
