The Battle of Meret (part of the Tchiho Crisis) was a naval battle fought for the control of Meret Harbour, that opposed the PAMAVEL forces (ships from Pastel, Manden and the Velpador) and the Rebels from Tchiho under Babbo's command. With all Rebel aircraft carriers, battleships and cruisers sunk, the battle ended as a decisive victory for the PAMAVEL forces, even if most of their fleet has been decimated during the battle.
The Battle
The battle began when the PAMAVEL ships departed from Penilon Naval Base (East of Wanden), to attack and hopefully capture Meret Harbour, further East on the Southern coast of Tchiho.
Obviously, Rebel forces were set in a defensive position and when the PAMAVEL ships came into their sight, they actually had the first shot, attacking two reconaissance planes from Pastel. After that, a major skirmish ensued, and most destroyers and cruisers from both sides were sunk, except for a few. All ships from Wanden and the Velpador were sunk. Both side then retreated to regroup and reorganize. PAMAVEL flagship, battleship Зима, was heavily hit during the battle, and survived the skirmish with only 1HP!

After that the battle dragged on for a while. Attempts by Koopanique to weaken the remaining enemy ships more or less failed and resulted with even more destroyers sunk for both sides. Most importantly, Uiorgues still had two battleships and two aircraft carriers. Koopanique had one battleship and three aircaft carriers, but most of the planes had been shot down by enemy cruisers.
The ground forces supposed to capture Meret Harbor were first landed near the harbor of Vargues not far West, then captured this seaport.
After the battleship was completely repaired in Vargues, and one additional cruiser completely repaired in Penilon, PAMAVEL ships re-engaged and finished off the remaining Tchiho Rebel ships and planes.
