USI 2 is one of the first USIs to have been granted a slot in the general USI order. It mainly revolves around one single story originally called Copper and Steel, although that name may change in the future. Its setting is generally simpler than those of other USIs. Visually USI2 is very brown- and gray-ish.
While it's quite developped because it was one of the first USIs, USI 2 doesn't feature a setting as wide as some other, more recent ones.

Setting
USI2 takes place on a single continent, and there are only 5 countries, of which 3 are basically one mid-size one, so really it can be said that there are only three countries.
The first is Prevalia, located on the far South of the continent, which is a modern-day mid-size standard Western-like democracy with a working government led by a President. It's rather wealthy, people live well, or at least they did until the weather got cloudy. Indeed Prevalia mainly revolves on solar pannels for energy, unfortunately, the weather has been cloudy for two years, which has caused a lack of electricity, which in turn has caused the electric machines growing the food to stop working at full. So at the time of Copper and Steel, the people of Prevalia is not yet suffering from hunger, but it soon will if nothing is done.
The second main country, in the middle of the continent, are the Cavanian Territories, a technologically-backward empire just North of Prevalia. The country in itself is incredibly large (about as large as Australia, which is really big by USI2 standards), and a lot of it is desertic, however a good portion of its territories is grassy fields, and only a few areas are cultivated. That's because while huge, the Cavanian Territories are only inhabited by some dozens of thousands.
And finally, to the far North, the third country is in fact three countries locked behind a mountain range that separates it from the Cavanian Territories. These three countries are all encompassed in an economic union, and the most important of these countries is the Westernmost one, and is called Azelia. These three countries form a large country that is similar to Prevalia, although their electricity come from Wind Turbines and most of their food comes from fishing, since most of the population lives near the coast.
