In USI6 computers exist and are used by some people and organizations, but are not part of the daily life as it used to be.
General informations
Technology and knowledge that allow the manufacturing computers has been lost at some point. Existing computers are all old but valuable machines, because they contain informations about how the world used to be in the past. In Mycelia and most other countries, computers officially belong to the State and every newly discovered computer is to be given to the nearest police station. That is because computers may be containing sensitive data about technology of the past that could prove valuable to the nation's interests.
Official State specialists exist in all countries, that are formed to dive deep into computer data to retrieve any valuable info. In Mycelia, a section of the Ministry of Information is dedicated to the study and storage of computer data. Since computer technology cannot be replicated at the moment, relevant data are stored on paper via handwriting or photography.
