The Interstellar Federation (French: La Fédération Interstellaire -- sometimes also called L'Union Interstellaire, the Interstellar Union) was the very first galactic order to be created. It somewhat ruled over the known space of Innissa from 32 950 to 33 050.
History
Background
In 32 800 the known space is still actually unknown from most of the population; humanity as a whole lived everywhere in that part of space, but no one at the time had a precise knowledge of what was actually known. Although the Space Era was nearing its end, humanity still lacked a real awareness of its own existence as a whole. At most, people knew there were other inhabited rocks in space but that was about it. State-like structures were never bigger than of a planet.
Near 32 800, Prelanium and (forgot), two Western planets relatively safe from the chaos of the Space Era because of their remote locations, began to trade with each other. They used the same currency, and trade was very profitable for both of them. Several decades later, near 32 840, both planets decided it was time for their trade area to get bigger. They included a nearby planet, (forgot), in their trade operations. Traded products included clothing materials, farm animals (very few were living on Prelanium), food, raw material, utilitary vehicles, and cultural products such as paperbooks.
